About The Event
The IHEID EQUALS-EU Innovation Camp is taking place this April 2022! Read more below about this exciting event and the opportunity it offers to create tomorrow's new, gender equitable world today.
The IHEID EQUALS-EU Innovation Camp will bring together world-leading thinkers, and shapers from International Geneva and beyond together with selected, top-tier, passionate participants (from Swiss academic institutions, civil society organisations, NGOs, and beyond) to dream of and iterate exciting new policy or process solutions for the digital inclusion of women and girls.
Taking place in the heart of International Geneva, this Innovation Camp seeks to create a safe, inclusive, and exciting forum where the dreams of women and girls are privileged, platformed, and given the support to be made into a reality. The Innovation Camp will be based on privileging grass-roots actors, and is fiercly committed to intersectionality and inclusivity in its design and iteration.
Focussing on "Feminism and Women's Leadership in International Law and Policy," the Innovation Camp will offer all participants the chance to interact with new, exciting ideas, processes, and leaders at the forefront of digital inclusion and innovation. After partaking in an the Innovation Camp, where they will be guided and helped by experts to dream of and iterate exciting new policy or process solutions for the digital inclusion of women and girls, each team will be asked to present their solutions for digital inclusion to a panel of expert jury members.
The team with the best evaluation will then be offered the opportunity to develop their work into a start- up, and, one member of each team will receive support to attend the international summer school where they will develop their skills and network, allowing them to become an ever-more powerful leader of their winning team, and, more generally, an ever-more powerful actor with the skills to place themselves at the forefront of a gender equitable digital world.
